Another figure ostensibly set in "winter," you could swap out his buckle overshoes for some combat boots and put him in a late fall 1944 or spring 1945 milieu. This GI wears the 1941 late parttern "Parsons" jacket, his Garand slung over his shoulder, and a small stub of a cigarette between the finger and thumb of his right hand. On his back is an M1928 haversack, to which the modeler attached the meat can pack and M-1910 entrenching shovel. Tucked around the back of his web belt is a raincoat or parka. Unlike other S&T figures in this series, this man's canteen is cast separately from his body.

Construction is straightforward and John Rosengrant's sculpting captures all the details that bring this figure to life.
