U.S. Infantry Rifleman with Canteen, WWII
Modeling the U.S. Army in WWII

Royal Model
164

This man stands with his Garand slung over his right shoulder and a bare canteen in his left hand.  He wears the 1941 khaki jacket and a scarf, and canvas leggings over his boots.  His pants can be either olive drab herringbone or brownish wool. While the figure comes with an empty canteen cover to attach to his belt, he has no cartridge pouches for his weapon, which is a curious oversight.

The figure is crisply molded and free of flash or seams. This should be a useful item for a setting of GIs at rest.
