Modeling the U.S. Army in WWII

Platoon
PT-007

This fellow is hunkered down, firing his M1 Garand. He wears the M1943 OD combat jacket, suitable for autumn, 1944 onward. The canvas leggings were also common even to the end of the war.

Again, Bill Chilstrom is the sculptor; the pieces are nicely cast, with both hands gripping the rifle; the additional gear is meager; and the figure measures out under 6' scale. The cartridge pouches are of the larger version from Platoon.

This is a fine companion to the other Platoon figures or others from Tamiya, Warriors or Jaguar.
