1/35 Sherman Brass Skids
Modeling the U.S. Army in WWII

This is a very helpful set of shaped brass skids to replace the thicker skids found in plastic Sherman kits. The brass has been punched to realistically emboss the four bolt heads that secured the skids to the bogies. Each package has six skids to complete one tank.

Tamiya and Italeri kits, and older DML kits based on Italeri parts, will benefit from this set, since the skids are not only too thick, but are also split lengthwise across the two bogie halves. Consequently, you'll save time and energy removing the seam-though you will need to remove the plastic skids from the bogies in order to use the Lion Marc replacements, but that's a simple job with the hobby knife.

Academy kits, such as the M10 Duckbill, and later DML Shermans like the Battle of the Bulge kit, have separate skids, so it's a simple matter of just swapping them with the Lion Marc parts.
