Air Cleaners for Radial Engine Shermans
Modeling the U.S. Army in WWII

Okay, so Italeri's venerable M4A1 76(W) kit has been eclipsed by the more recent Dragon offering. But if you're like me, you probably have one or two of these sitting on your shelf. The kit comes with the earlier, less common round air cleaners. If you are of the mind to build an Operation Cobra Sherman, you'll want to replace those air cleaners with the later boxy version, as provided here by Formations. Not pictured above is a carrier with six securing lugs to hold the bottom covers in place. The set also includes the early pattern exhaust and a pair grouser storage vent covers (you'll need to remove the kit's covers and supply your own mesh screen).

These air cleaners also can be used for Italeri's M7 Priest. Overall, this is a good investment for those looking for improved accuracy.
